Women Empowering Women

“The success of every woman should be the inspiration to another. We should raise each other up. Make sure you’re very courageous: be strong, be extremely kind, and above all be humble.” ~ Serena Williams

Here’s to the WE…

Who are there to support, mentor, and guide each through our life’s journey

Who celebrates each other’s successes, no matter how small

Who listen to each other so we don’t carry the load ourselves

Who carry each other’s loads

Who tolerate each other quirks and eccentricities and still accept each other

Who understand and honor each other’s boundaries

Who help us through our recovery– mind, body, and soul

Who drag us to impromptu parties or unannounced gathering

Who leave “luv yah!” text messages and make our day

Who know when to step in and when to step back

Who love us in spite of

Who show their kindness to other women

Who celebrate motherhood and commiserate the difficulties of motherhood

Who understand our why’s

Who help us through both good and bad times

Who tell us the truth when we are at fault

Who show us how to love and take care of ourselves

Who boost our self-esteem

Who reflect the innate and inner beauty in each other

Who show us our worth

Who choose to see our strengths

Who teach us to go inward and reflect

Who cheer us on as we keep growing

Who offers their shoulders to cry on

Who love us despite our vulnerabilities

Who encourage us to dream big and live bigger

Who hold other women’s dignity…

…And to so much more that WE do for each other. THANK YOU!

And here’s to the women…

Who have burned bridges and whose bridges I burnt– I understand our toxic relationship and recognize our boundaries

Who remain quiet– your silence spoke a lot

Who choose to stand back– please learn how to lift other women up

Who choose to look at other’s faults– we are not perfect and we are all still trying to figure ourselves out

Who judge other women– know your judgment is a reflection of you and not theirs

Who weren’t there when we need them– I understand you have your own priorities

Who put other women down by looking at their weaknesses instead of their strengths– I see you with kindness and compassion. You taught me humility.

"Be the woman who fixes another woman's crown without telling the world it was crooked." ~ Unknown

I am a writer at heart. My love for art and my creativity was stunted at a young age because of an elder’s opinion, as I was catapulted into a profession that I offered my love and passion for, and held it noble for 30+ years of my life.

I am a wife and a mom to 2 brilliant young adults/old souls. Going through midlife and empty-nesting, I have learned the power of true human connection.

I have a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy with 30+ experience in clinical practice, administration, academia, and academic administration. I am a Board-Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist, a Certified Health Coach, a Certified Life Coach, and a Certified Yoga Teacher.
